I qualified in medicine at Birmingham University in 1985. I then worked in hospital medicine for three years, mainly in Hereford, gaining experience in orthopaedics, accident and emergency, paediatrics, ophthalmology and obstetrics and gynaecology, and obtained a further qualification in the latter in 1988.

I qualified as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1990, in the same year that I started work at Heathville Road Surgery. Over the last fourteen years I have been undertaking minor operations at the surgery and also medical examinations for the D.V.L.A.

As well as providing traditional family care I also have an interest in Care of the Elderly.
